Why are the others quiet?

Have they no story to tell?

Surely there must be something to tell.

Everyone has had their hell.

I guess, maybe, the words evade them.

Or they are too busy to tell.

Silence!

Oh wait, I hear it,

“What will society say?”

Silence! Silence!

I will still have my say,

I do not care what they think.

Silence! Silence! Silence!

Someone needs to hear my story,

I will not be selfish about it.

If we share our stories,

We support, learn and grow.
