It is my opinion that the best way to understand a culture is to look at its art.
Art is the untold story of thoughts unsaid. It is the working of the inner mind pouring out raw and uncut. It is the message of the soul, unknown on the face, revealing one’s deep needs, desires, repulsions and rejections.
It is the individual and collective expression of hope, fear, life, love, death and EVERYTHING in between.
Art carries history blended with the present, and has the scope to foreshadow the future.
Art breathes the colour, texture and frame of a culture.
